Position: Office Manager
Anticipated Start Date: June 1, 1996
Position Description:
This person will be responsible for all the office functions and many of the administrative functions of operating a company. Initially, they will be doing all the functions personally. Over time they will evolve to a management role.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Run the office; Phones, supplies, reception, administration
- Find new office space and coordinate move
- Marketing literature fulfillment
- Manage benefits programs; Health insurance, Payroll, 401K plan, stock option program
- Administrative support to team
Skills Required:
- Very organized
- Competent with Office automation tools
- Personable on the phone and reception
- Intelligent
Professional Experience Required:
- At least 2 years running an office
- At least 2 years of partnership development experience
- At least 4 years with OA tools (word, Powerpoint, excel)
- Experience with Email and the web would be a plus
- Some management experience would a plus but must have an aptitude for management
- Start-up experience a plus
Personal:
- Aggressive and intelligent
- Team oriented
- Motivated to succeed
- Able to put in long hours initially
Education:
- Undergraduate degree in liberal arts (communications would be perfect)
